Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort in Vinh Phuc is conceived as a lakeside retreat that draws on the beauty of the water, mountainous terrain and distinctive natural landscape of Thanh Lanh. The architecture is carefully integrated with the land, lake and expansive green spaces, making the landscape an essential part of the resort experience.
Inspired by Alpine architecture and European mountain villages, Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort is characterised by pitched roofs, low-rise buildings and human-scale proportions. A restrained architectural language preserves its European influences while sitting gently within the natural surroundings of Vinh Phuc. Buildings follow the contours of the terrain, creating soft transitions between architecture, greenery and water.
The relationship between the architecture and Thanh Lanh Lake is central to the design. Spaces are arranged to capture views across the water, valley and surrounding hills. Balconies, terraces, openings and transitional spaces between indoors and outdoors bring natural light and the landscape into the everyday experience of guests.
The development encompasses a range of building types and scales, from lakeside resort villas to larger mansions with more generous private grounds. Despite differences in size and location, the buildings share a common design principle, respecting natural conditions, making the most of landscape views and maintaining a connection between architecture, people and the surrounding environment.
Materials, colours and forms are selected to complement the resort setting. Muted tones, surfaces with a natural character and distinctive roof forms establish a coherent architectural identity. Within the expansive landscape of lake and mountains, the architecture maintains a measured presence, retaining its own character while allowing nature to remain the defining feature of Thanh Lanh Valley Golf & Resort in Vinh Phuc.
